It was also used for ten tropical cyclones in the Western Pacific: * 1945's Typhoon Nora * 1951's Typhoon Nora (T5112) * 1955's Typhoon Nora (T5525) * 1959's Tropical Storm Nora (T5913, 26W) * 1962's Typhoon Nora (T6209, 46W) - struck Japan. * 1964's Tropical Storm Nora (T6433, 49W, Moning) * 1967's Typhoon Nora (T6721, 24W) * 1970's Tropical Storm Nora (T7023, 25W) * 1973's Super Typhoon Nora (T7315, 17W) - one of the most intense tropical cyclones ever recorded. * 1976's Tropical Storm Nora (T7624, 25W) - struck the central Philippines.
